The Fundamentals of Making Nachos

July 15, 2021

Nachos are one of my guilty pleasures. I’m almost embarrassed about making them. A lasagna isn’t healthy for you. It may have some tomatoes in it and cudos for eating fruit in something. But let’s be real: lasagna isn’t a health food by any stretch […]

Nachos w/ Vermicelli, Lettuce, & Avocado Dip

July 15, 2021

The other day I made Vermicelli Salad w/ Avocado, Cucumber, & Tomato and Avocado Dip w/ Tahini & Lemon. I still have a plethora of both in my refrigerator! And, while my go-to is ordinarily burritos. Which I absolutely have been making en masse this […]

I planted a bunch of fruits and vegetables in my garden. This season, the first wave of produce is just beginning to ripen. Which I’m quite excited about it. I’ve been turning radish into Vermicelli Salad w/ Bell Peppers, Tofu, & Peanuts and Falafel w/ […]

Nachos w/ Ethiopian Lentils & Sautéed Spinach

February 25, 2021

I’m never entirely sure if I’m going to post nachos. Nachos are my cheat meal. They’re what I make tired at the end of the day after work. Probably in the dark in the middle of the night! They’re not necessarily something that I’m proud […]

Nachos w/ Chocolate Curry, Saffron Rice, & Avocados

When you think of curry, one of the last things that you likely think of are it in combination of nachos! And I will admit that curry in nachos is by no means a traditional meal. Let alone chocolate curry nachos with saffron rice and […]

I have been quite fond of making nachos lately. I have tons and tons of curry leftover from making Calabaza Squash & Chocolate Curry. Plus, it’s quick and easy to put together! After all, what could be simpler than tossing together curry nachos? All it […]

One of my favorite late night snack meals is nachos. I am constantly craving them when I just don’t have the time or the energy to cook! A lot of the time I will refrain. Because tortilla chips and copious amounts of cheese and sour […]

Top 5 Overrated Kitchen Gadgets NOT Worth Buying

I hear what you're saying. The holidays are upon us. The overpriced culinary gadgets are finally on sale. But put down that copper pot. Step away from the Vitamix. And rethink that Instant Pot. Your counter space is too precious to spend that much money on things that you'll probably never use! Although, I do have some more useful recommendation, if you still think that you might want an all-purpose cooking contraption or fancy 19th century kitchen. Plus, nothing on this blog is sponsored. I just don't like it when people waste money on cooking fads. NAME ONE PERSON WHO ACTUALLY USES AN AT-HOME PRESSURE COOKER.
